After having been postponed four times due to the winter storm named Heather, the trial for Heather and the other defendants targeted by the politicized Department of Justice is set to begin Tuesday, January 23rd at 9am.

Christians are calling for a day of fasting and prayer from this evening through Tuesday morning to seek God to move. Please pray for God to glorify Himself, for the gospel to be present in the courtroom (even as the courts attempt to prohibit God’s name from being spoken), for justice for the defendants and for abortion to end in our country.

The defendants are trusting in the Lord for deliverance, but agree with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego when faced with Nebuchadnezzar’s fiery furnace, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” (Daniel 3:16-18)

We trust God to declare his law, justice and Gospel in this land! May Jesus be exalted in our lives, families, churches, and nation.

“Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from him a safe journey for ourselves, our children, and all our goods. For I was ashamed to ask the king for a band of soldiers and horsemen to protect us against the enemy on our way, since we had told the king, “The hand of our God is for good on all who seek him, and the power of his wrath is against all who forsake him.” So we fasted and implored our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.” (Ezra 8:21-23)

“Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke,
to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?
Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house;
when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?
Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily;
your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
