Heather is currently in the Sanilac county Jail in Sandusky, MI. After spending several months in Livingston county Jail in Howell, MI Heather was transported to Kentucky to await her sentencing in Nashville, TN.
September 27th She stood before Judge Traugher and once again declared Proverbs 24:11-12
“Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work?”
Heather also shared about the mistreatment she has endured while in transit. Sadly the trip to TN was her most painful, the waist chain was so tight it restricted her breathing. When she asked for the chain to be lossened the marshal told her if she said anything esle she would tighten the chain.
She misses her family and spoke of her desire to be reunited with them.
Judge Traugher sentenced Heather to 8 months in prison which will be concurent with the 24 month sentence she is already serving.
The guilty verdict in Detroit is still in question. There is a motion to dismiss the felony conspiracy charge as well as two motions for mistrial which have yet to be argued before and decided by Judge Leitman. It is likely that Heather will remain where she is untill these issues in Detroit are resolved.
